Some proposals feel magical from the very beginning — and Nathan and Rebecca’s was exactly that.

Rebecca believed they were heading off for a relaxed adventure, enjoying a beautiful dinner before camping on top of their car under the stars. What she didn’t know was that Nathan had planned a surprise that would turn the entire weekend into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

On arrival near Wilsons Promontory, Rebecca was gently blindfolded and led away from the car. When the blindfold came off, she was met with a breathtaking proposal setup on the private deck at Bubble Retreat, overlooking the rolling landscape of the Prom.

The deck had been transformed into a romantic setting, styled with a statement floral feature piece that framed the moment perfectly. Surrounded by nature and complete privacy, the atmosphere felt intimate, emotional and incredibly special.

Just when Rebecca thought the moment couldn’t get any better, their dog appeared as the surprise ring bearer — made possible by Nathan’s parents making the five-hour return trip so their beloved pup could be part of the proposal. It was a thoughtful, heartfelt detail that made the moment even more personal.

Tears, laughter and a heartfelt “yes” followed, set against one of Victoria’s most beautiful backdrops.
