Set across five acres of landscaped gardens, this Italian-inspired estate feels like a little piece of Tuscany. Cobblestone pathways, stone buildings, fountains, a lake and intimate garden spaces create a beautiful setting for an unforgettable proposal.
Perfect Proposals AU has now had the pleasure of styling two proposals at Guestlands, and it has quickly become one of our favourite Sydney locations.
A Private Italian Escape
Located in Sydney’s Hills District, approximately 45 minutes from the CBD, Guestlands was created by owners Jenny and Peter Guest.
For more than 30 years, they have transformed the property into a private Italian-inspired retreat filled with winding pathways, stone bridges, fountains and hidden garden spaces.
Unlike a public beach, park or lookout, Guestlands offers a private, pre-booked experience away from the crowds. It allows couples to enjoy their proposal in a setting that feels intimate and completely removed from the city.

We work closely with each client and the Guestlands team to select the right location, coordinate the arrival and style every detail behind the scenes. Guestlands offers six beautiful proposal settings, each with its own atmosphere and character.
Parterre Fountain Garden
Enter through a romantic stone archway leading towards a central fountain, surrounded by manicured hedges and established gardens. This setting is perfect for a floral and candlelit proposal aisle.
Rose Column Walk
A timeless garden walkway framed by stone columns and surrounding greenery. The long pathway creates a beautiful entrance for your proposal and an elegant setting for photographs afterwards.
Lakeside by the Moroccan Lantern Tree
A peaceful lawn beside the lake, surrounded by established gardens and the Moroccan Lantern Tree. This setting is particularly beautiful in the late afternoon and pairs perfectly with a floral halo or romantic picnic proposal.
Private Cellar
An intimate wine cellar featuring rustic stone walls and warm timber details. Styled with florals, rose petals and candlelight, it creates a romantic European atmosphere and offers a beautiful indoor proposal option.
Bellagio Steps
A charming cobblestone staircase nestled between Guestlands’ Italian-inspired buildings. Candles and rose petals can line the steps to create a romantic pathway, particularly for an evening proposal.
Ricciardo Fountain
An elegant stone fountain surrounded by greenery and Italian-inspired architecture. The fountain provides a beautiful centrepiece for luxury florals and candle styling for the perfect personalised proposal setup.
