Packages

1. Booking & Payment

  • In paying for the Photography Package, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Bookings are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date.

  • Confirmation of your date, photographer, or our offer of recommending locations will not occur until payment has been made in full.

2. Payments

  • A payment method will be provided to you within 24 hours of your booking submission via email.

  • We most commonly ask that payment is made via Bank Transfer. Credit Card is available upon request but please note a 2.3% surcharge applies.

  • All prices are inclusive of GST.

3. Wet Weather

  • During the booking phase, we will encourage you to plan for the instance of wet weather, and are also able to provide some wet weather options for your consideration.

  • The client is responsible for any wet weather venue costs incurred.

  • if you/us are unable to find adequate wet weather option, a date transfer can be requested up to 48 hours before the booking.

  • Any attempt to change the date/cancel the booking within 24 hours will be considered as forfeit of the booking and no refund will be made.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • 7–14 days’ notice – 50% of the package cost refundable.

  • Under 7 days’ notice – 100% of the package cost is non-refundable.

  • All cancellations must be made in writing.

5. Public Holiday Surcharge

A $150 surcharge applies for bookings on public holidays.

6. Venues & Hotel Access

  • Payment of any venues or hotels is the sole responsibility of the client.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring venue and hotel access. For hotel room proposals, you must notify the hotel in advance and authorise access for our team.

  • Some venues (gardens, beaches, clifftops) require photography permits. We can assist in arranging these for Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, and other regions.

  • If you fail to appropriately arrange the correct access and photography permissions with a venue, you may be asked to leave. If this occurs, your photographer will also end the booking immediately.

  • If access is denied for reasons outside our control, we are not liable for non-performance.

7. Photography & Videography

  • Our Photography Only Package does not entitle you to choose from our photography suppliers, instead we will appoint one of our trusted suppliers based on the compatibility of location, date, etc.

  • You will work with the Perfect Proposals Team in the organisation of any logistics up until the day before your booking, where your photographer will reach out to confirm any last minute details.

  • Standard delivery includes 20 edited photos within 48–72 hours; additional edits may incur extra charges.

  • Images may be used for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

  • A 15-minute grace period applies for late arrivals. After this, a $150 per 30 minutes fee may be charged.

  • Our photographers have the right to end a session early if they feel unsafe, threatened, or are treated poorly.

8. Add-ons

  • We will always do our best to source your chosen flowers and styling items.

  • If specific items are unavailable, we will provide the closest alternative of equal or higher quality.

9. Inclusivity

We proudly celebrate all couples, including LGBTQ+ and gender-neutral proposals. Every setup in Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, and beyond is tailored to your unique love story.

10. Surprise Proposals

We understand discretion is essential. Our team takes every step to ensure surprise proposals remain confidential until the big moment.

11. Liability

Perfect Proposals accepts no liability for:

  • Personal injury or property damage during or after the event.

  • Cancellations, delays, or restrictions caused by circumstances outside our control (e.g., extreme weather, traffic, venue closures).

12. Waiting Time & Overtime

  • If the Client arrives late & services need to run into overtime. Overtime is charged at $50 per 30 minutes (or part thereof) ($100 per hour) from the scheduled start time, billed in 30-minute increments. Overtime is subject to staff/venue availability; if an extension isn’t possible, the booking proceeds within the original time and no refund/credit applies for lost time. If we must extend venue hire, permits, staff hours or supplier services to accommodate the delay, the Client is responsible for all additional charges.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
